Lescoja Corporation Founder Lee Jacobs has debuted Launching New Products, a coaching service targeting entrepreneurs contemplating new consumer product development, the personal care product creator revealed today in Tucson.
Launching New Products is the first coaching service for individuals and companies allowing direct personal guidance from an entrepreneur who has successfully introduced both products and brands into the marketplace.
"Having gone through the new product development process as an entrepreneur myself, I realized that there aren't any readily available resources to turn to for real-world advice from a source that's actually done it successfully," Jacobs said. "After receiving hundreds of questions from new and aspiring entrepreneurs … I realized that my experience successfully launching new products could provide critical insights to help others do the same."
The new venture and its website, www.LaunchingNewProducts.com, will be supported by a marketing campaign combining traditional print and broadcast advertising with internet marketing and public relations. Entrepreneurs can schedule an appointment to consult directly with Jacobs via the website.
"Currently, someone looking to develop a new product or launch a brand has to rely on information found in books or online ... which can be out of date or simply incorrect,” said Jacobs. "Few consultants have actually developed a product or brand themselves. How can they be expected to speak intelligently on the subject? It's dangerous for someone who is looking to launch a new product to take advice from someone that doesn't actually have experience doing it."
Lee Jacobs, who created the Matte For Men skincare line, has worked with consumer products companies in both sales and marketing. He currently serves as president of both Lescoja, which he founded in 2004, and The Great American Powder Company.
