Intertech Solutions, Inc. (ITEC) released an update Friday from its Scottsdale headquarters regarding its mining operation at the WPE Gold Project, advising shareholders of production and operational permitting progress at the site near Quartzite.

Working directly with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), ITEC announced that BLM recently asked for an expanded environmental assessment, which the company’s Environmental Consulting Group is currently addressing, with expectations of submitting a final report to the agency’s Yuma office by Sept. 4.

Following its report review, the bureau will issue a 30-day public review period, after which ITEC predicts that the business will be fully permitted to begin commissioning for mining. In the meantime, ITEC will maintain planning work with its engineering team.

“Our project validation … regarding mineable tons and grade, combined with the imminent timeline on receipt of our mining permit, has allowed us to aggressively advance the project, such that as soon as we are issued the green light to commence, we will have our mining operations and ultimate gold production in full swing within 45 to 60 days," ITEC Company President Rob McIntosh said.

In addition, a third-party compliance report has been posted to the company’s website. Details of the report discuss estimated amounts of alluvial material in the lands allocated for production, as well as project sampling statistics.
