Western Area Power Administration has made its 2016 State of Assets report available on its website.

Transparency in corporations is important to the customers and company alike, and recently, Western Area Power Administration, which sells and transmits electricity to 15 western states, including Arizona, shared the status of its operations in its 2016 State of Assets report to customers and interested parties.

Within the report, customers and stakeholders will have the opportunity to view the details concerning the health of Western, as well as the operations and updates for the different regions that Western covers. Additionally, the report contains information about the energy markets which Western is a part of.

Western's CEO Mark Gabriel  said that allowing customers to understand the choices the company is making is important as it helps customers to be informed about what is happening within Western. This year, the report is available through Western's website.

“The State of the Assets is a key communication tool," Gabriel said. "Making it available in this way enables us to share with customers and the American public Western’s progress and stewardship in maintaining and strengthening the electrical infrastructure we all share."
