Joint Corp., a Scottsdale-based company that owns more than 320 chiropractic clinics in the U.S., recently said that Richard Kerley has been appointed its lead director.
Kerley's leadership experience includes being an audit partner with Doloitte & Touchear and, more recently, at Peter Piper Inc, a pizza chain, where he was the chief financial officer and a board member.
Kerley serves as a board member for The Provident Service Corp., where he manages social services and matters related to health care.
Joint Corp. CEO John Richards said he believes that Kerley's combination of public and private experience will prove helpful in his new role. "We are delighted to have someone of Rich’s experience and expertise agree to serve as our lead," Richards said. "Rich has the necessary skills, independence and sound judgment to qualify him to step into this role," Richards continued.
