Arizona Public Services is seeking proposals for extra capacity.

Arizona Public Services (APS) in trying to address the needs its customers announced an all-source request for proposals to supply energy during peak periods.

APS, which serves approximately 1.2 million customers across the state, is seeking to purchase 400 to 600 megawatts of capacity from supply side and non-supply side resources. The project's status will be surveyed, as well as managed by a third-party independent source.

The proposed projects will need to guarantee delivery before June 1, 2020.
