Barrett-Jackson is teaming up with Proxibid.

Barrett-Jackson, "The World's Greatest Collector Car Auctions" with headquarters in Scottsdale, and Proxbid recently formed a partnership that will see Proxibid providing online bidding solutions for bidders from around the world for all Barrett-Jackson auctions starting with the 14th annual Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction from April 8-10.

"Proxibid is excited to partner with Barrett-Jackson to provide global buyers with access to the highest caliber of collector cars available," Proxibid President and CEO Ryan Downs said.

As the sole provider of online comprehensive risk management for high-priced transactions, Proxibid makes 14,000 sales events possible every year, with over 13,000 new buyers in their marketplace every month.

"Proxibid sets the industry standard with its risk management capabilities, technology and marketplace reach, and will help Barrett-Jackson impact the future of the collector car auction industry,"  Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO Craig Jackson said.

In this year's Palm Beach Auction, vintage, custom and supercars will be available, including a 1957 Ford Thunderbird F-Code Convertible, a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT and a nearly brand new 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition.
