The Arizona DOT has announced new ramps opening as well as temporary road closures.

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) recently announced that two new ramps will be opening for use soon, bringing some restrictions over the weekend.

The ramps will connect Loop 303 and US 60 in Surprise, and will improve the two roadways' traffic.

Loop 303 and US 60 are to be closed prior to their scheduled openings, in addition to traffic signals temporarily not functioning while the final work on the ramps is being completed.

On April 4, a ramp that receives all of the traffic from Grand Avenue connections will be used to connect southbound Loop 303 to Grand Avenue.

Drivers who are going south on Loop 303 and plan to exit at Grand Avenue have been advised to take the Bell Road exit south, where they will be able to get on the northbound Loop 303 and then make their exit at Grand Avenue.

The final work and improvements on the Loop 303-Grand Avenue Interchange project are expected to be completed this summer.

The total cost of the project is $46 million.
