Sinfonía Healthcare Corporation, based in Tucson, said last week it has acquired Arizona Counseling & Treatment Services (ACTS), a mental and physical health care services provider based in Yuma.
Sinfonía Healthcare Corporation, based in Tucson, said last week it has acquired Arizona Counseling & Treatment Services (ACTS), a mental and physical health care services provider based in Yuma.
ACTS was acquired by Sinfonia's Assurance Health & Wellness Division, which will add 16 new locations throughout Arizona. Assurance Health currently provides services to approximately 2,000 clients in consolidated clinics where physical, psychiatric and other medical programming are available in one location.
“Arizona Counseling & Treatment Services is pleased to be joining such a fine organization," ACTS CEO David Waples said. "It was exciting to find an organization with a very similar vision to ACTS. We believe that this merger and partnership will bring additional services to the clients we serve and will increase the health and wellness of our communities.”
Sinfonía provides health services to customers in six states, along with prescription management for another 45 million customers throughout the country.
