Salt River Project (SRP) will be helping Arizona residents prepare to enjoy the summer through water safety workshops and swimming lessons.
The free workshops are part of SRP's Verano Sano/Safe Summer program and will focus on swimming lessons and CPR training.
Phoenix events will be held July 2 at Falcon Pool and July 23 at Maryvale YMCA.
Other events will be held in Peoria on May 30 at Peoria Pool, in Buckeye on June 4 at Buckeye Aquatics Center, in Mesa on June 10 at Carson Pool and in Chandler on Aug. 6 at Arrowhead Pool.
SRP will also host a Sunsplash in Mesa on July 26. Tickets are $9.83 plus tax with a coupon available through SRP's website.
