Arizona Corporation Commission Chairman Doug Little said there will be a special open meeting June 24 to hear comments on proposed improvements to the commission's water policies before a potential vote on the proposals.

Last month, the commission opened a docket to study potential improvements to its water policies. Several proposals have already been submitted and discussed during an open meeting. The public is invited to submit comments on any or all of the proposed policies. Comments should be filed by June 17; ideally earlier, per Little's request.

The commission plans to hold a special open meeting on June 24 to further consider and possibly vote on adopting one of the proposed policies.
