State Farm Insurance recently said its Marina Heights location will hire more than 1,000 full- and part-time associates this year to fill positions in claims, sales and customer service at the Tempe customer contact center.

"One of the reasons we've selected Tempe is the benefit it provides to current and future employees and customers," Naomi Johnson, a State Farm spokesperson, said. "Multiple transportation options and proximity to local universities were key factors in determining this location. We're confident we can attract and retain talent to provide excellent service to our customers here.

"We are differentiating ourselves by providing multiple careers and opportunities for employees at State Farm at Marina Heights," Johnson said. "This allows our associates to pursue advancement opportunities for their career in one location."

State Farm offers starting pay that is competitive for entry-level position, full benefits and abundant resources for its employees.
