The Arizona Corporation Commission will host an open meeting that spans two days -- Sept. 7 and 8 -- each beginning at 10 a.m. at Hearing Room One on the first floor of the commission building, 1200 W. Washington St. in Phoenix.

Several items will be discussed over the two days, although the agenda does not mention the order or which day any particular item will be discussed. During the regular meeting, the items on the agenda all pertain to utility concerns such as new contracts, rate increases and determining fair value of several utility-owned properties.

Members of the public are invited to attend and to comment on the agenda items, which cover requests by Arizona Public Service Company, Turner Ranches Water & Sanitation Company and Johnson Utilities.

Commissioners may also choose to move to executive session to discuss items in private.
