ADOT purchases validation program to ensure accurate roadway information

The Arizona Department of Transport has purchased 1Spatial's 1Integrate, a validation program, to validate its statewide road network and integrate it with data from other contributing government entities across the state.

The 1Integrate technology allows ADOT to automatically quality-assure the information it receives from numerous counties and public-safety answering points (PSAPs) by checking it against a set of predefined rules. This new process will save a significant amount of time and money compared to performing the work manually; it also ensures the accuracy of the state-wide data map.

“We are delighted to be awarded this contract by Arizona Department of Transport and to be able to work with James Meyer, his team and Works Consulting, their primary contractor," Duncan Guthrie, 1Spatial’s director of sales for North America, said. "The solution we are implementing will provide significant automation to their processes and we look forward to a great partnership working together in the future.”

1Spatial works with the largest geospatial databases available, helping entities from mapping agencies and land registries through governments, utilities and census bureaus.
