Guests checking into the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Tucson Airport recently might not have been sure they were in the right place. That's because the 91-room hotel just finished undergoing a major renovation that  included updated guest rooms and lobby, upgraded patio furniture around the pool, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, and new furniture, flooring and decor.

The hotel, located minutes from Tucson International Airport, is owned by MCR Development, the seventh-largest hotel owner-operator in the country.

According to MCR, the improvements are in line with the company's goal to "provide Tucson visitors with high-quality, convenient lodging options. TownePlace Suites by Marriott Tucson Airport is near Raytheon, the American Red Cross and the University of Arizona, to name a few popular destinations."
