The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the award-winning documentary "Most Likely to Succeed" on Aug. 10, with the local showing followed by group discussion.

The Gilbert Chamber Foundation, the organization’s charitable arm, will present the film for free in conjunction with the 2017 Business & Education Summit at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts at 4132 E. Pecos Road in Gilbert.

Registration for the event begins at 7:15 a.m., with opening comments at 7:50 a.m. The 90-minute film will start at 8 a.m., and a panel discussion will follow from 9:30-10:20 a.m. Attendees are asked to preregister.

The documentary details the history of education in the U.S. and shows the shortcomings of educational methods, according to the chamber.
