The city of Surprise seeks booth applicants for its annual Fiesta Grande, which will feature food, music, dancing, a children's zone and car show.
The celebration is slated for 3-9 p.m. Oct. 14 in the downtown Roy Villanueva Community and Recreation Complex, 15660 N. Hollyhock St. in the Grand Avenue corridor.
Potential participants can choose booth setups and/or promotional opportunities. All prospective vendors are required to apply online at www.surpriseaz.gov/specialevents or in person at the Community Recreation Services office, 15960 N. Bullard Avenue.
Food vendors and business owners are all eligible to participate at this event. Early application is encouraged as spaces are limited. Commercial vendors can reserve a 10-foot by 10-foot booth space with a tent, table and chairs for $500, and food vendors can reserve a 10-foot by 10-foot area with table and chairs for $150.
Surprise’s first Fiesta Grande premiered in 2014. The annual Hispanic-oriented cultural festival and street fair features mariachi music, pinatas, games and other entertainment for children. Past vendors have served burritos, tacos, Sonoran hot dogs and chili-pepper-flavored ice cream, according to The Arizona Republic.
