The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce will host Arizona entrepreneur Jonathan Buford in September as part of its Gilbert, Entrepreneurial, Motivational (GEM) Talks series of interactive sessions.
Buford, founder of the Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co., will share his entrepreneurial story as the featured guest speaker for its GEM Talks series, according to a press release.
Buford, who founded the Arizona Wilderness Brewing in 2010, had long been inspired to create his own craft brewery and brew pub. His successful Kickstarter campaign helped him to earn $40,000 from investors and within three years, went from homebrewing beer to building a successful craft brewery.
GEM Talks offer lively interactive and informative sessions which highlight local entrepreneurs who share their journey of business success with participants.
The September GEM Talks event, sponsored by Aflac’s Emily Evans, will take place from 4-5:30 p.m. Sept. 21 at Main Event Entertainment on Santan Village Parkway in Gilbert. Tickets are $15 prior to the event and $20 at the door. The cost is $5 for students.
