Natural Grocers will distribute gift cards to the first 60 customers at its newest Arizona store’s grand opening at 6320 N. Oracle Road in Tucson at 7:55 a.m. Sept. 8.

Grand opening festivities will include performances by the Mariachi Alegre band from 7:30-10 a.m., food tastings, cooking demonstrations and nutrition classes. Mystery gift card giveaway amounts—which will be revealed only at checkout—will be in denominations of $5, $10, $25, $50 or $100. Additionally, the store will offer a tasting of healthy and delicious food from its Paleo Wraps class.

Special events are scheduled for Saturdays throughout September, including a healthy living fair, live musical performance, and active lifestyle, nature-inspired and paleo-themed fairs.

Open 7 days a week, the store will feature a mix of national brands and locally grown, raised and manufactured products from Arizona in a small, neighborhood market environment.

Family-run Natural Grocers, based in Colorado, offers high quality organic and natural groceries, dietary supplements and body care products along with free nutrition classes, health coaching and cooking demos. The company is committed to sustainability and community support.

As consumers increasingly seek out healthy, affordable shopping choices, Natural Grocers continues to expand its geographic footprint. The Tucson location is one of 17 Natural Grocers stores expected to open in fiscal year 2015.
