Five utilities presented their summer preparedness plans at an ACC workshop.

Five utility companies presented their plans for managing summer energy demand and outages during an Arizona Corporation Commission workshop Thursday.

Arizona Public Service Electric Company (APS), Salt River Project, Arizona G & T Cooperatives, Transwestern Pipeline Company and El Paso Natural Gas were scheduled to discuss their plans for the summer, including each company's plan for responding to outages.

APS in particular was expected to discuss with the commission last summer's spike in outages and explain infrastructure improvements that are expected to prevent outages this year.
