The Health Means Business Conference will be held Thursday in Phoenix.

The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the University of Phoenix College of Health Professions will hold a conference Thursday at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix on how businesses can promote community health.

The Health Means Business Conference will be divided into two sessions titled Health Community and Healthy Workforce.

The conference will feature a variety of speakers including Arizona Department of Education Director of School Health Jason Gillette, University of Phoenix Dean Angie Williams-McMichael, Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Economic Development Jennifer Mellor, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Health and Wellness Program Director Jeff Lundy, state Rep.Heather Carter (R-15) and U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Rrepresentative Richard Crespin.

 Alan Gilbert, director of General Electric's Healthymagination initiative, will deliver the keynote address.
