Rogers Corporation, a supplier of engineered materials solutions, plans to relocate its global headquarters from Rogers, Connecticut, to Chandler, Arizona.

The move will expand the company's Arizona presence, where it already has business and manufacturing operations.

“Relocating our corporate headquarters to Arizona improves our access to the growing business and technology centers on the west coast,” Bruce Hoechner, president and CEO, said.

Rogers’ Advanced Connectivity Solutions business, based in Chandler, has been in the area for 50 years, currently employing more than 400. The new corporate headquarters will be home to approximately 70 employees.

Rogers has been part of the Connecticut community since the company's founding in 1832. Several hundred employees in the state -- in manufacturing and research and development positions -- will not be affected by the move. Rogers’ Elastomeric Materials Solutions business, also based in Rogers, will stay there as well.

“Rogers, Connecticut, will always be a place we call home and a strategic element of Rogers Corporation in the years ahead,” Hoechner said. “We have enjoyed a mutually beneficial relationship with the Connecticut communities in which we operate, and we will continue to support community services in the area.”
