Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and Keep Arizona Beautiful (KAZB) employees will hold the “Environmental Resources Roadshow” to help show others how to improve their local environments.

The event takes place Nov. 2 from noon to 2 p.m. at Camp Verde Town Hall, Council Chambers, 473 S. Main St., Suite 106, in Camp Verde.

The Environmental Resources Roadshow invites everyone who works or lives in the Camp Verde area to attend the free event. After brief presentations, there will be time to discuss concerns and ask questions. Some of the topics that will be covered are: successful recycling of electronic waste; food recovery; how to adopt sections of a highway for litter cleanup; and statewide beautification programs.

ADEQ hosts environmental roadshows across the state, focusing on rural areas, to educate residents about the recycling options available. To learn more about the roadshows or about food recovery, recycling or electronic-waste recycling, contact J.B. Shaw at shaw.joseph@azdeq.gov or 602-771-5613.
