Ted Vogt has been named Executive Director of the Arizona Corporation Commission, stepped in for Jodi Jerich who served in the role for four years.

Vogt most recently served as Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs for the Traversant Group, a lobbying group. Before that, he worked as chief of operations in Governor Doug Ducey's administration and as director of the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services. He was also the vice chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. Vogt was a state representative for District 30 from 2011 to 2013 as well. Years ago, he served as an executive assistant to former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

“It is an honor to take on this new role,” said Vogt. “The commission is vital for providing safe reliable services to all residents, and it is an avenue to promote a strong economy. I look forward to working with this commission to serve our customers with the excellence they have come to expect.”

The Arizona Corporation Commission also recently elected Tom Forese as its new chairman.
