Mesa Vice Mayor David Luna is hosting the free Heart Your Health fitness and wellness expo Saturday, Feb. 11, the city said in a news release.

The expo, running 8 a.m-noon at the Red Mountain Multigenerational Center, 7550 E. Adobe, will feature fitness classes, including Zumba, Pilates and yoga, and a free breakfast, the release said.

“I look forward to this event each and every year,” Vice Mayor Luna said in the release. “The opportunity to exchange exercise tips and share ways to live healthy with your neighbors helps strengthen our community and encourage a healthy lifestyle.”

A rock wall will be set up for climbing at the expo as well. The wellness portion of the event takes place in the gym. Fitness coaches will offer information on staying fit and healthy. A massage therapist will also be on hand, as will the Mesa Fire and Medical Department. In addition to the fitness classes, participants can also climb the rock wall or visit the Health and Wellness Expo.

For more information about the event, contact Marrisa Ramírez-Ramos, council assistant for Luna, at 480-644-5294 or by email at marrisa.ramirez-ramos@mesaaz.gov.
