The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2017 IMPACT Nominee Reception, announcing the finalists for the 30th Annual Impact Awards which honor local companies that have had a positive impact on the Phoenix area.

During the awards luncheon this May, one company from the Small/Medium category and one from the Large Business category will be recognized in each of the following areas: Community Champion, Economic Driver, Exceptional Innovator and Arizona Advocate. The Chamber will also award the 2017 IMPACT Businesses of the Year awards.

“The small and large companies and nonprofits nominated for the Chamber’s 2017 IMPACT Awards exemplify success and leadership in the Greater Phoenix business community,” Todd Sanders, president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, said. “While only two can take home Business of the Year honors, the innovation and leadership displayed by each nominee is worthy of recognition.”

The finalists in the small/medium business category are ASU Gammage, Center for Entrepreneurial Innovation, Crisis Response Network, FirstBank, NextNet Partners LLC, Orchard Medical Consulting, Perkins Cole LLP, and Red Flex Traffic Systems Inc.

The large business category finalists are Beatitudes Campus, EPCOR Water USA, Isagenix International LLC, National Bank of Arizona, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Sonora Quest Laboratories, Southwest Airlines and Total Transit Inc.

The nonprofit finalists are the American Red Cross of Greater Phoenix, Arizona Community Foundation, Arizona Forward, and Duet: Partners in Health and Aging.

“We really look forward to the IMPACT Awards each year because the event gives us the chance to highlight the companies doing great things in the Greater Phoenix region,” Janelle Tassart, director of community relations at the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, said. “To all of this year’s extraordinary nominees, you truly make a difference in our community and keep Arizona’s economy moving forward.”
