Lohman Company based in Mesa has been ranked the No. 1 accounting firm in the state by Ranking Arizona The Best of Arizona Business 2017, which ranks accounting firms that have six to 33 CPAs, a release on the Mesa Chamber of Commerce website said.

Lohman Ppresident Jay Lohman was quoted in the release as saying they were honored by the recognition and impact they have been making in Arizona. “This is our 10th year appearing on the top 10 list, but the first time that we’ve achieved the highest ranking. We are very proud of this accomplishment,” he said in the release.

Lohman opened in 2000 and has remained locally owned since it began. The firm takes pride in their custom-made solutions for each business they serve. The company offers its accounting and business advisory services to Maricopa County as well as across the state, the release said.

Ranking Arizona is a poll that is based on the opinions of voters rather than the size or income of the business. Participants are asked to vote with regards to the quality of the businesses service or product as well as the company they would recommend to others, the release said.
