Pima County recently hired Diane Frisch as the director of attractions and tourism.

Frisch previously worked for PGA Tour as sales and marketing manager for the PGA Tour tournaments and PGA Tour Champions, according to a press announcement. With experience in television and radio broadcasting, Frisch served as vice president and general manager for multiple television and radio stations.

Frisch will handle contracts for attractions, business development, marketing, revenue improvement and training for all of the tourism partners within the county.

"I look forward to working with Pima County and our partners to highlight the events and venues that make our community so unique," Frisch said in the announcement.

The department manages properties, including the Pima Air and Space Museum, Pima County Fairgrounds and Colossal Cave Mountain Park.
