Attaining a successful online identity can be as simple as landing the perfect name — and Scottsdale.com is delivering that service to local businesses with individualized @Identity email addresses in partnership with 10 Day Media.

A Scottsdale.com address suffix immediately identifies a company’s location, according to an announcement. For example, an accountant can purchase “JonesCPA@ Scottsdale.com,” a moniker that quickly conveys where and what service is offered.

Branding location along with vocation strikes Scottsdale.com’s managing partner Fred Mercaldo as the perfect online business identity solution.

"We are obviously excited to formally bring this product to the marketplace,” Mercaldo said in the announcement. “When a consumer and potential client needs to communicate with a professional, business, or individual, they require an easy to remember online identity that they can immediately use.”

Mercaldo teamed up with Troy Bohlke, who leads 10 Day Media, also in Scottsdale, to promote his concept.

"This is the most exciting and effective way to provide exclusive branding to local businesses,” Bohlke said. “We are honored to be part of this opportunity and firmly believe that Scottsdale.com is going to make a big difference for local small business owners. The best part is that it all starts right here in Scottsdale."

Mercaldo said that residents of Tempe, Mesa, Chandler and Fountain Hills will be eligible for the program as the partners roll out additional city domains in conjunction with Geocentric Media Inc.
