Avondale and Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona will host a job fair Aug. 24 at Avondale City Hall.

The job fair is slated for 4:30-6:30 p.m., during which attendees can meet and network with representatives from over 20 companies, including those from warehouses and production, retail, food service, government, medical and caregiving industries, according to a press release. Attendees should bring printed copies of their resumes.

In addition, a branding seminar will be held at 4 p.m. at City Hall. The seminar is geared for those interested in learning how to excel at interviews and job fair events. Those attending the seminar will be able to access the job fair at 4:20 p.m. as the first participants. 

Both the branding session and the job fair are free.
