The cities of Avondale and Goodyear and Estrella Mountain Community College are hosting the CulturePOP Block Party for the sixth year. 

This event was formerly known as the Tale of Two Cities festival.

The party will be held on Feb. 10, from 6-10 p.m. along Thomas Road, west of Dysart Road. There will be street performances, live music, international cuisine, a beer and wine garden, vendor booths, concessionaires, cultural and arts displays, carnival rides, and evening parade, and more. Specific perfomances include '80s cover band Rock Lobster, stilt walkers, fire eaters, Irish step dancers, a Chinese dragon dance, and the Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra.

Admission, parking, performances and many attractions are free. Vendor applications are still being accepted.

Local sponsors and partners include Crescent Crown, SRP Connections, T-Mobile, Liberty Utilities, Desert Diamond West Valley Casino, Lyft, Anderson School of Music, AtoZ Rentals, Southwest Valley Chamber, West Valley View Newspaper. The event is organized by Goosebump Marketing & Events.
