Scottsdale has revised its Planning and Development Services website to provide clearer information on permits, approvals and other related information for commercial developments and home improvement projects.

The website now has quick links to the city’s map center, which can provide information about neighbourhood activities, city services, land parcel details such as zoning and flood insurance boundaries. The site includes more videos, step-by-step explanation graphics, and is better organized.

Some of the website’s biggest changes are in three new website sections that cover development process and services. There are now separate areas for home improvements, residential development, and commercial development.

There are also quick links to access required forms and to check on the progress status of existing projects.

Additionally, there are links listed for other areas managed by Planning and Development Services, such as Long Range Planning, Historic Preservation, and Green Building.
