The Surprise Stadium has been ranked the No. 1 Spring Training Stadium in the state by USA Today and leads both Arizona and Florida's 23 spring training facilities for facility and fan experience.

As the 16th annual Surprise Spring Training season kicks off this week, athletes will be playing in the top stadium according to scores tallied from online fan reviews. The reviews looked at the categories of facility, family friendliness, food and fan experience.

The Surprise Stadium, which is the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals spring training home, also scored first overall in the Cactus League. The stadium will be home to 31 games this season, including matchups featuring every Cactus League team.

This season, fans will have the opportunity to participate in a new interactive photo experience that places them in a backdrop with the Royals and Rangers mascots. Fans will also be able to try new stadium menu items such as the tamale jumbo dog or the "High Heat Dog" featuring jalapeno relish.

Ticket prices start at $8, with Budweiser Legends Deck seats at $30 including food from local restaurants, a drink voucher and private bar access.
