The Institute for Organization Management recently appointed Tucson Metro Chamber’s Vice President of Government Affairs Robert Medler as vice chair of the Winter Board of Regents.

The nonprofit professional development program has been an effort of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation since 1921. The vice chair will see Medler implement the Institute’s policies.

Medler has been a leader within the program since 2013. He graduated from the Winter Institute at the University of Arizona in 2012 and has been a member of the Winter Institute Board of Regents since 2014.

The five Boards of Regents are part of the National Board of Trustees, and each works to encourage “recruitment, retention and marketing of the program.” Like other regents, Medler is an institute graduate and was nominated for a two-year term by his peers.
