The U.S. State Department will increase passport application fees from $25 to $35 as of April 2. 

The City of Avondale, which is encouraging individuals to get their passports before then, will be hosting a Passport Event on Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Avondale City Hall at 11465 W. Civic Center Drive.

You can also apply for a passport at the City Hall on Mondays to Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

The complete list of documents you need for application can be found here. There is a copy machine as well as a photo booth available for a fee.
