The City of Mesa Office of Economic Development has launched AerialMesa.com, which is a virtual reality tool offering a bird’s-eye view of Mesa's business district.

The tool, created by Aerialsphere, is part of Mesa’s rebranding and offers views of the Riverview area, Fiesta District, Falcon District, Gateway Area, Elliot Road Technology Corridor, Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, and Pecos Advanced Manufacturing Zone.

"Our brand refresh combined with this innovative virtual reality tool allows us to effectively promote development opportunities 24/7 to industry executives, site selectors, brokers, and developers in a visually appealing way," City of Mesa Economic Development Director Bill Jabjiniak said.

Aerialsphere uses geolocation and data visualization to present a virtual reality in a 360-degree format “that encourages discovery, interaction and user engagement, and enhances the user's visual cognitive ability to perceive complex geospatial data,” according to a city news release.

Previous developments in the city's web presence include the City Profile and marketing collateral of key industries including health care, education, aerospace and technology.
