The Coconino County Board of Supervisors will continue seeking input on its Facility Master Plan, but the City of Flagstaff has decided to independently pursue a courthouse development project.

“The county will continue working on its Facilities Master Plan, which has a clear goal of improving access for the public by grouping services together for more one-stop service opportunities," a statement from the county said.

The statement said the county's plan will focus on developing business opportunities flexibly, with adaptable areas for technological advancements; easy and hassle-free payment and paperwork techniques; and an efficient and adequate building system that would be used to conserve water and energy.

The board of supervisors also stressed a desire to deliver services to the county's constituents who reside in Flagstaff.

"Our goals include meeting the needs of our citizens, increasing customer service and improving efficiency." the board said, noting its desire to work on initiatives under public-private partnership collaborations.
