Credit Union West is honoring those who serve in the military with reserved parking spaces for veterans at six of its branch locations in Phoenix.

The spaces, which are close to the front door, are painted with an American flag and the words "Military Veteran Parking.” The curb in front of the spaces is painted blue.

“We have all benefited from the brave men and women who serve and have served to protect our nation," Bob MacGregor, CEO of Credit Union West," said in a press release. This is our way of recognizing their commitment, honoring their patriotism, and supporting our 65-year heritage of serving the military community and their families.”

Credit Union West plans to expand the initiative in Prescott, Prescott Valley and Cottonwood branches later this month, and to its new corporate office and banking branch in Westgate early next year.
