Kevin Sullivan, senior vice president of Business Attraction at the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), was the guest speaker at the recent Economic Development Insider Series hosted by the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce.

The ACA is a private-public partnership focused on moving Arizona forward by attracting and keeping businesses in the state.

Sullivan discussed how the state's business-friendly environment and public policy have led to economic development in Arizona, but it's as much about keeping businesses here as attracting new ones.

“We’re not just solely focused on getting companies to come to Arizona,” Sullivan said. “The companies that are here today are just as important to our growth.”

With Arizona ranked in the top five states for economic momentum, Sullivan said the ACA will continue to build on that momentum and help the state move forward.
