About 36.2 percent of the 127 degrees and certificates handed out by the Brown Mackie College-Tucson in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Tucson conferred 35 associate's degrees and 11 certificates in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Corrections and Criminal Justice, Other. Data shows the school gave out 28 associate's degrees in Corrections and Criminal Justice, Other, followed by 15 associate's degrees in Occupational Therapist Assistant and 13 associate's degrees in Business/Commerce, General.
The college enrolled 171 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
