Graduates earn 1,190 degrees, certificates from Pima Medical Institute-Tucson


About 22.7 percent of the 1,190 degrees and certificates handed out by the Pima Medical Institute-Tucson in 2016-17 were to students in Medical/Clinical Assistant, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Tucson conferred 270 certificates in Medical/Clinical Assistant.

Other popular programs include Health/Health Care Administration/Management, Health/Health Care Administration/Management and Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer.

The institute enrolled 2,109 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
