About 91 percent of the 557 degrees and certificates handed out by the Brookline College-Phoenix in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Phoenix conferred 260 certificates and 167 bachelor's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 154 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 91 certificates in Medical Insurance Coding Specialist/Coder and 59 certificates in Medical/Clinical Assistant.
The college enrolled 1,218 students for 2016-17, including 1,101 in undergraduate programs and 117 in graduate programs.
