Graduates earn 16 degrees from International Baptist College and Seminary


About 68.8 percent of the 16 degrees and certificates handed out by the International Baptist College and Seminary in 2016-17 were to students in Theology and Religious Vocations programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Chandler conferred 7 bachelor's degrees and 3 master's degrees in Theology and Religious Vocations programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Bible/Biblical Studies. Data shows the school gave out 4 bachelor's degrees in Bible/Biblical Studies, followed by 3 bachelor's degrees in Religious/Sacred Music and 2 master's degrees in Pre-Theology/Pre-Ministerial Studies.

The college enrolled 90 students for 2016-17, including 66 in undergraduate programs and 24 in graduate programs.
