Graduates earn 53 degrees, certificates from Sessions College for Professional Design


About 71.7 percent of the 53 degrees and certificates handed out by the Sessions College for Professional Design in 2016-17 were to students in Visual and Performing Arts programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Tempe conferred 29 certificates and 9 associate's degrees in Visual and Performing Arts programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Graphic Design. Data shows the school gave out 20 certificates in Graphic Design, followed by 7 associate's degrees in Graphic Design and 7 associate's degrees in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design.

The college enrolled 114 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
