Graduates earn 231 degrees, certificates from Carrington College-Tucson


About 97.8 percent of the 231 degrees and certificates handed out by the Carrington College-Tucson in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Tucson conferred 226 certificates in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Medical/Clinical Assistant. Data shows the school gave out 55 certificates in Medical/Clinical Assistant, followed by 50 certificates in Dental Assisting/Assistant and 41 certificates in Veterinary/Animal Health Technology/Technician and Veterinary Assistant.

The college enrolled 308 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
