The City of Buckeye will accept applications for its fiscal year 2018-19 Nonprofit Community Funding Program from July 1 through Aug. 2.

According to the city, applications are reviewed and selected based on the nonprofit agency's level of service to residents and their ability to address essential community needs.

Also according to the city, a technical review of all applications will be done to ensure completeness and accuracy. After the review, applications will then be reviewed by a subcommittee who will make recommendations.

Criteria for subcommittee recommendations include the nonprofit's direct impact on Buckeye residents as well as the demand and service needs of the organization and community. Organizations who receive funding through the program must complete a "closeout report," which includes a program narrative as well as financial accounting, by June 30, 2019.

Contact Robyn Jacobs at rjacobs@buckeyeaz.gov or at 623-349-6320 for additional information.
