The Town of Cave Creek is accepting Statements of Qualification (SOQ) for engineering services which are needed for the Central Arizona Project (CAP) pipeline pump stations project.

According to town officials, professional engineering firms are being sought for evaluation, upgrade and implementation of the existing pump stations. The stations are located along the pipeline, which delivers raw water to the town's water treatment plant.

The engineering work will be comprised of assessing the existing pump equipment, developing alternatives for upgrades, and designing replacement equipment, the town said.  Work will also include identifying the right-of-way and easement requirements, preparing an implementation plan, procuring support as well as other related work.

The SOQs must be submitted by 4 p.m. on July 23 and should be dropped off at the town manager's office at 37622 N. Cave Creek Road.  Submissions must be labeled "CAP Pipeline Pump Stations Evaluation, Upgrading and Implementation" with the name of the company clearly written on the envelope.

Visit http://www.cavecreek.org/DocumentCenter/View/3072 for additional specific instructions on SOQ submissions.
