Pima County issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.

On Oct. 26, the Pima County Elections Department will mail approximately 112,000 sample ballots for the Nov. 6 General Election to voter households that did not request an early ballot. Those who receive these samples should pay close attention to the mailing panel of the ballot, which will include their designated polling place for the upcoming election. Though many polling sites will remain the same as in 2016, some may have changed.

Individuals who did not register by the Oct. 9 deadline cannot participate in this election. To check voter registration status, voters can visit the Pima County Recorder’s Office website and click on the “Check Your Registration” link. The site will populate eligible election details and polling locations.

Registered voters who want to vote early, but did not request and early ballot can visit an early voting site through Nov. 2. The Recorder’s Office has several early voting sites located throughout Pima County. Visit their website or call (520) 724-4330 to find a location.

Those who prefer to wait until Election Day to cast their vote, should locate their polling place in advance by reviewing the information on their sample ballot or by visiting the Recorder’s Polling Location Search feature. The polls will open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 6.

For additional voter information, including voter identification requirements, visit the Elections Department webpage. Voters who have already mailed back their early ballots can track the status of their ballot by visiting the Pima County Recorder’s Office website.
