Graduates earn 1,135 degrees, certificates from Arizona State University-West


About 23.5 percent of the 1,135 degrees and certificates handed out by Arizona State University-West in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Glendale conferred 209 bachelor's degrees and 58 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in "other" business, management, marketing, and related support services. Data shows the school gave out 160 bachelor's degrees in "other" business, management, marketing, and related support services, followed by 150 bachelor's degrees in general psychology and 100 bachelor's degrees in speech communication and rhetoric.

The university enrolled 4,063 students for 2017-18, including 3,630 in undergraduate programs and 433 in graduate programs.
