Graduates earn 2,169 degrees, certificates from Phoenix College


About 21.6 percent of the 2,169 degrees and certificates handed out by Phoenix College in 2017-18 were to students in visual and performing arts programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Phoenix conferred 441 certificates and 27 associate's degrees in visual and performing arts programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in general art/art studies. Data shows the school gave out 434 certificates in general art/art studies, followed by 405 associate's degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies and 130 associate's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse.

The college enrolled 11,428 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
