Arizona residents paid $9,840 to attend the four-year public institution this year – $461 less than the $10,301 charged for 2017-18.
Non-residents paid 159.9 percent more than residents this year, or $25,576. Their price tag was reduced 1.8 percent from $26,038 in 2017-18.
About 65 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Arizona residents. About 29 percent are residents of other states and 5 percent are citizens of other countries.
Data shows 93 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 504 students received grants or scholarships totaling $5.1 million and 200 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.4 million.
Including all undergraduates (5,095), 2,995 students used grants or scholarships totaling $28.7 million, and 1,826 students took out $13 million in federal student loans.
